Frequently Asked Questions
Our Chalk
What makes Crux Power Climbing chalk different?
We keep it simple and high quality. We use 100% ultra pure magnesium carbonate with zero fillers, no drying agents, and no "secret" ingredients. Every bag is hand filled in St. George, Utah, ensuring quality and consistency that won't damage your skin or break the bank.
Which blend should I choose?
Performance Chalk (Chunks + Powder): Our original workhorse. A mix of crushable chunks and fine powder for a sticky, long-lasting layer.
Performance Powder (Ultra Fine): Perfect for maximum coverage and quick application. Great for those who want a flawless coat on glassy slopers or tiny crimps.
Sport Chalk (Chunks + Powder): Specifically engineered for hot, humid, or high-intensity conditions. It aggressively absorbs moisture to prevent "dry firing" when you’re sweating through a project.
Is your liquid chalk skin-friendly?
Yes! Our Performance Liquid Chalk is made from the same ultra-pure formula. It’s designed to provide a thick foundation of friction without the harsh drying agents found in many other liquid brands. It’s great as a base layer or for dust free gym sessions.
Sustainability & Shipping
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
We care about the environments we climb in. All of our bags are recyclable and feature resealable zip-lock technology so you don't waste chalk in your pack. Our "Power Pail" is also made from recycled materials and is a great way to reduce single-use plastic.
Do you offer local pickup in St. George?
